Jibby Chow Halal Chinese Restaurant @ Courtyard SS15

by - February 20, 2020

Jibby Chow is a regular spot for me to dine at, it's near to my workplace, delicious and my Muslim friends can dine there and enjoy Chinese cuisine with me. They are simply the best place for halal Chinese food in Subang, the restaurant is located in SS15 Courtyard that serves Chinese cuisines on the menu with a little modern twist that you wouldn't find at other restaurants. I was really excited to hear about the new addition to their new menu and decided to pay the restaurant a visit.

Jibby Chow's interior was nice and simple but well designed and I love how spacious the venue is, there's also two private space separated with curtains to cater for those who need a lil privacy, be it a birthday or business talk over lunch or dinner.

A little history about Jibby Chow, it's managed by The Serai Group which is a family-run hospitality company that manages other famous restaurants like Serai and Jibby & Co as well. Rest assured the food served here is HALAL certified which makes it perfect for those who are looking for a halal Chinese restaurant to dine at.

Salted Egg Yolk Duck Meat Fried Rice RM19

Salted egg fanatic will love this dish, this is unlike your ordinary fried rice, the salted egg boosted the flavor and give it a natural saltiness to the dish.

Chow's Signature RM30

I was really surprised by how delicious these Mongolian style Australian Lamb Ribs are, it was bursting with flavors, the lamb has this crispy caramelized bits on the outside and inside it was tenderly soft, pair it with a bowl of Jasmine rice and it's perfect.

Cantonese Fresh Water Prawn Yin Tang RM23

One of the most satisfying Chinese Stir Fry dishes I love, this stir fry is a combination of two noodles, crispy noodles and flat rice-noodles topped with velvety egg-based gravy pair with freshwater prawns.

Crab in Chili sauce and egg drop

This was my favorite dish of the day! Fresh crab simmered in a rich flavorful sauce that's sweet and sour, this dish came with steamed and fried Chinese mantou, personally, I've always preferred the fried ones, just soak them in the sauce and take a bite into it, this pairing is just so addictive I can't stop eating, there was a second I wanted to finish up all the sauce by itself even though I'm done with my buns.

It was a great visit to Jibby Chow, the food was delicious, none has disappointed me, the ambiance was nice, and the staffs were friendly and really attentive, even before I came as a blogger! I can't wait to come back for more and if you're searching for a halal Chinese Restaurant this is the place to be!
