Café Café, Kampung Attap

by - March 31, 2021

If I could teleport anywhere now it'll definitely be somewhere in Europe, unfortunately, with covid-19, it's been nearly a year since I went anywhere near an airplane. With hubs birthday, I've decided to give ourselves a treat, bring him to a restaurant that stands out from the rest - Café Café.

Located in Kampung Attap, Café Café is a one-of-a-kind restaurant that offers French cuisine set against romantic & exquisite Parisian décor in KL, the restaurant was decorated with classic pieces that are effortlessly chic and incredibly timeless, I just love the interior but most importantly I've asked everyone who's been here before and they all agreed that it's one of the promising French restaurants in town.  Made my bookings easily online on their site here cafecafe.com.my

We went for the RM250, 4-course meal

Let me bring you for a virtual food tour, starters I had the Pan Seared Foie Gras with framboise cubes, pear, and apple balsamic reductions, the Foie Gras was cooked perfectly that each bite melts in my mouth, besides that, I also enjoyed the presentation, it was truly beautiful, as for Ricky, he settled with half a dozen of fresh French Oyster, according to him they were really fresh and the sauce went really well with it.

After starters, we had a serving on Soup of the Day.

The main course was stunning, I had the Lamb Medallion and Hubs went for the Cod Fillet.

My Lamb Medallion is served in medium rare and I'm so glad they got it just right, it was a beautiful medium just how I wanted it because I can't tell you my frustration of restaurants that overcook my meat, it was served with quinoa salad, mash potato, and honey lemon mustard dressing.

The Cod Fillet was good as well, the cod was fresh, pair with scallops it had a wonderful play of texture from creamy along with the salad for some crunch.

Ended the dinner with delightful desserts, without a doubt I choose the classic French dessert, poached pear and chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Overall, the dinner was fabulous, the vibes were just amazing, it was worth trying and I'll definitely be back to discover more.
