Hi loves! I have just received a box of Althea's exclusive products. This round I had a chance try out the Althea Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist and Althea Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser.

The Althea Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist is a collaboration with Titi Kamal, who is a talented movie star and singer from Jakarta, Indonesia! The mist smells incredibly fresh with a perfume inspired scent, it is made of a combination of Titi Kamal's favorite fruity and floral scents: Orange, Peach, and Rose.

Honestly I am allergic to perfume so I was a little bit skeptical, eczema will flare up whenever I apply it and I also get really nauseous after smelling it but despite my allergy I decided to give the Althea Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist a try, from my experience as long as I don't use too much of it, it is still bearable, the mist is a lightweight body fragrance, the formula is non sticky and it is also pretty long-lasting.

Ingredients

#1 Damask rose water - Keeps the skin hydrated and gives a gentle fragrance

#2 Orange Flower extract - Refreshes the senses

#3 Elder flower extract - Cools and soothes the skin, while giving out a feminine scent

When to use it?

#1 Daily after shower mist: Spray the body mist all over your body after you take a shower. The scent will last longer as your pores are open and will absorb more of the mist.

#2 Pre- and post-workout beauty plan: Coming out of the gym or yoga class sweat and smelly? Pack this into your gym bag to help prevent body odor.

#3 Refresh your clothes: Time to refresh your mid-day outfit just lightly spray it on your clothes to give them a nice scent and to help eliminate any unpleasant musty or smoky odors.

The second product is Althea Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser and I am over the moon with it, it works both as a facial cleanser as well as a makeup remover, it's really gentle which makes it great for those with sensitive, dry and acne-prone skin types.

Product Claims

Althea Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser is a gentle purifying cleanser with a serum like a formula with a blend of deep cleansing and antibacterial ingredients that removes makeup, dirt, and oil without drying out the skin and balances the PH levels of the skin at the same time to ensure it's healthy.

Ingredients

Mint leaf extract - Cools down the skin and soothes irritations

Jojoba seed oil - Deeply moisturizes any dryness without feeling heavy

Tea tree leaf extract - Has antibacterial properties that purify the skin

Application & texture

To use it as a facial cleanser just wet your face and gently apply the cleanser onto your face and gently massage it for a minute. To cleanse makeup I usually apply it onto a cotton pad and leave it on for a minute then remove it gently.

Overall experience

As I mention previously, I love the Althea Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser, it's gentle and soothing to the skin, it removes all traces of makeup and doesn't leave the skin feeling stripped, this product will work for all skin types, definitely, a beauty must have!

Removing the impurities on our skin surface at the end of each day is vital if you want to maintain healthy skin and youthful glow. Althea Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser is priced at RM33 for 150ml, a bottle is sufficient for daily use a good 2-3 months.

#1 Althea Korea's Petal Velvet Sunscreen

I absolutely love this sunscreen! Formulated with hyaluronic acid and Damask rose extracts to keep your skin moisturize, at the same time provides SPF50 PA++ to keep my skin protected. It is also non sticky and it's not pigmented, some sunscreen tends to make us appear a lil bit too fair like a geisha and I don't really like that.

#2 Althea Korea's Petal Velvet Powder

Living in Malaysia means as soon as I step outside my makeup melts! Althea Korea's Petal Velvet Powder is a lightweight loose powder that helps protect my face and keep my makeup shine-free. I dust this over my face after I apply my BB cream for a perfect face all day.

For a natural look, I apply the Althea Korea's Petal Velvet Sunscreen first then dap some Althea Korea's Petal Velvet Powder over it, this is good enough for days where I don't feel like putting on heavy makeup but I still want to look presentable.

How long has it been since you pamper your face? The Althea Korea's Milk Peel Cream Mask is suitable for day to day use, it's enriched with both AHA and BHA extracts, it works as a gentle exfoliator which draws out all the dirt from our pores. Leave it on for 10 minutes and you'll have a squeaky clean face after using it, at the same time my skin also felt really soft and smooth.

Hi loves, it's been such a long time since I've posted a beauty review and I'm finally back with one that's worth your time. Have you heard of the latest gossip in town? Althea recently launched a new skincare line, Bare Essentials, it is a skincare which promotes 3 quick and easy step.

To be honest I can't decide which is my favorite one because I fell in love with both. The coral is a gorgeous shade in general and it flatters me, just the perfect shade for the everyday look while the Red Orange Lipstick is just perfect for a night look, with one coat and you're good to go for the entire evening. The coral lip is super comfortable and balm-like finish while the red orange has a dryer finish to it.

The A:Cushion also comes with a compartment for lipstick which is such a good idea because it is compact it wouldn't take up a big space in your bag, unlike a makeup bag, now I can just carry this kit wherever I go because by midday I would definitely need a touch-up.
