Torimabushi 🐥
This is Torikin's signature dish - the chicken was incredibly tender, drenched in a very well executed Teriyaki sauce then topped with a runny soft boiled egg.

Katsudon 🐖
One my all time favorite! It might look simple tender, juicy, crispy pork cutlets paired with egg and onions, all smushed into a pile of rice? What’s not to like?

Last but not least, we had a variety of Yakitori, I highly recommend the Butabara (Pork Belly) & Torimomo (chicken leg & thigh) the sauce that was marinated into these skewers were just amazing, I would come back for more because it's just so hard to resist!

The chef's special! The Take Set is a must try here, the set consists of Fried Chicken "Saya" Style, Traditional Japanese Stew, Hokkaido Croquette (beef/vegetable), Japanese Omelette, Tomato with "DASHI" Ginger and Tofu and Kinoko Mushroom with Dashi Sauce. This set comes with serving of miso soup and hot steamed rice.

Fried Chicken with Tartar Sauce RM27
Fried Chicken with Tartar Sauce what I normally have when I am here, I love how they manage to cook the chicken with crispy coating on the outside and that sauce that goes with it balance the dish beautifully. The set is served with steamed rice, miso soup, Traditional Japanese Stew and pickled vegetables.

Curry Saya Style RM24
The classic Japanese curry, this will make a great meal for lunch! The curry is mild but it is rich with hearty flavours and comes with fried vegetables.

Steam Egg and Dashi Soup "SAYA STYLE" RM7
This egg custard is well known as Chawanmushi, I like how they made it really soft and smooth and it was not too salty.

Again with the same concept, same broth and serving presentation only this is using the Tuna Sashimi as the raw ingredient. The fish was fresh and pre-seasoned with soy.

Catch your breath at Enchan-Thé JAPON Salon de Thé after an afternoon shopping in Bukit Bintang. It's my first time having tea at a Japanese Cafe, they do not serve your usual scones and macaroons instead they serve inari and assorted Japanese desserts.

Enchan-Thé JAPON offers a great selection of french teas, they are categorize by season, since it's spring in now (supposedly in Japan) I've chosen 105 Alexandra and 106 Colette's Garden.

My favorite was Colette's Garden, it has a sweet and pleasant aroma something like perfume, the tea was filled with flavors of pears, apples and raspberries. On the other hand, Alexandra was really soft, having that said you're able to taste the vanilla, wild strawberries and lime.

Each pot of tea is serve with "Wa San Bon", it's sugar with calcium and iron.

Ordered the omotenashi set, it's on promotion now, instead of RM40, it is only RM30. It comes with a pot of tea, dango, imo yokan, matcha pomero but I've changed mine to matcha moshi and sakuramochi. The dessert were great, I love the flavors and it wasn't too sweet, my favorites were matcha moshi and imo yokan.
From left to right - matcha moshi, sakuramochi, dango, imo yokan

It was great to experience, definitely a place I'll keep in mind if I ever wanted to have tea. The price was very reasonable, the environment was great, got the privacy we wanted and the service was excellent, I also love how much they spent on preparation and presenting our tea and food.
