Hey girls I hope all of you are doing well. Things were a lil hectic recently and I was thinking I really should take some time off for myself, afterall I deserve to be pampered too right? Well if you're feeling a lil tense that's a sign to slow down. I've recently found a lovely spa located in Putrajaya which is the perfect spot for a peaceful reset and I’m so excited to share it with you!

The spa is baby and kids friendly with a waiting room prepared with play area and tv area, which is great for mummies who need some me time, bring along your kids and even your husband, they can enjoy themselves in the waiting room, there is also a breastfeeding room equipped with a sterilizer and breast pump for any mummies who need it which was perfect for mummies like me, I can pump in peace.





Bondahaven offers a range of different spa treatments suitable for all woman, even if you're pregnant, you can enjoy a prenatal massage here, since I just finished my confinement not too long ago I choose the Nusantara Confinement Ritual as a closing for my confinement, it consists of Foot Soak, Herbal Sitz bath (Tangas) & Sauna, Body Scrub & Rinse, Herbal Bath, Malay Herbal Compress (Tunku) and Full Body Traditional Malay Massage.

I was offered a cup of Herbal Tea before I start off with my spa, my therapist of the day was Hajar, she ushered me to my first station to enjoy my eucalyptus foot soak and a foot scrub, she was very detailed in explaining the steps involved and also asked about the degree of pressure I’d like before my session started.






Next I was brought to a room with a separate shower room and started my Herbal Sitz bath (Tangas) & Sauna, traditionally tangas is a Malay ovary treatment, it aids by improving the blood circulation to improve the overall wellness for your ovaries, combined with a full body scrub to remove the dead skin cells and washing it off with a herbal bath.

After the herbal bath we moved on with the Malay Herbal Compress (Tunku) this treatment helps to expel wind from the tummy which I needed badly since I've been feeling bloated recently and it ended with a full body traditional Malay massage, Hajar was a great masseuse, the pressure was spot on, I would highly recommend her massage to anyone! This massage has helped release all the knots and tension I had it was so good I actually doze off after a few minutes.

The whole experience was really relaxing, I really enjoyed myself and I actually put away my phone for 3hours! Thanks to the fantastic team at Bondahaven! I can't wait to return to do it all again and next round I would really love to try out the milk booster lactation massage to help increase my milk supply! Oh yes, mummies you can do that and if you're experiencing blocked ducts, you can also book yourself a massage session to help you release the blocked milk duct.
