Hi loves, what have you been up to recently? I hope everyone is feeling good, despite having the covid-19 attacking us worldwide and being quarantined at home under the movement control order in Malaysia, I've been making use of my extra time to redecorate my home. My bedroom is one of the most important space at home because my family I and spend most of our time there, it's a spot that gives us comfort and joy, cozy up during those gloomy days, and obviously a place to crash after a long day and recharge.

My latest edition to my bedding is these two new Getha pillows. Getha is a Malaysian Brand with 50 years of manufacturing experience of natural latex foam mattresses and bedding products in Malaysia. I am so happy to be supporting a local brand because when you buy from a local business you’re helping to save the planet by lowering your carbon footprint and of course supporting the community!

Getha has a vast collection of natural pillows for all body and sleeping types since there's no one size fits all pillow. Their series varies from Classic Pillow Series, Functionality Pillow Series, Bolster Series, Neck Pillow, Snow Bean, and even Travel size pillows that you can benefit from when you're not at home.

So what made me change to a latex pillow instead? The idea was pretty simple, 100% natural latex bedding products are antibacterial, hypoallergenic and EMF free, besides that, it also maintains the ideal balance between softness, comfort, firmness, and support, these pillows hold its shape for many years while giving you the right level of sleep support.

My husband has a lot of neck discomfort from sleeping on regular pillows, it has been ages since I've been convincing him to change his pillows but knowing how stubborn men can get, I secretly switched his to Getha 100% Natural Latex Windy 360 Pillow from the Classic Pillow Series and I've noticed his complaining less about neck discomfort, the pillow was a perfect fit for him, with dual density option of soft & firm, this pillow fits seamlessly the curve between the shoulders and the neck that gives him the support he needs all through the night.

As for myself, I love my pillows to be on the sturdy side, I got myself the Getha 100% Natural Latex Beauty Pillow from the Functionality Pillow Series, it gives me the beauty sleep that I've always wanted, it uses the Milk Technology that gives me the soft-touch milk protein fiber cover smoother your skin and reduces wrinkles as it doesn’t create friction when your skin encounters the surface of the pillow, the Honey Comb Air hole technique, ventilates air and disperses heat away from my body throughout my sleep.

These pillows from Getha are super comfortable and well made with 100% pure natural, high-quality latex. I know I can rely on them for years to come. If you know the importance of making the right choice so that we can get a good night's sleep that'll eventually contribute to our overall health and wellness I definitely suggest you have a try with the Getha ones, I’m sure you’ll find a perfect match among their huge collection and if you're purchasing it now you'll be receiving free sanitizers and delivery as well, visit https://bit.ly/GethaOnline now and have fun shopping online.

Our eyes are usually one of the first areas to show fine lines and wrinkles as we age which is why it's important to start using eye serum during our early 30s to tackle these unnecessary problems, a good eye serum can make the world of difference when it comes to prevention of fine lines and save us from Botox appointments that'll cost us even more.

It's no secret that I am the biggest fan of Murad Products. They have done so much for my skin and I use their skincare products every single day for years now, the current change I'm addicted to is the Retinol Youth Renewal Skincare line that promises users 24 hours of hydration, instant brightening effect and improvement of lines and wrinkles in as little as two weeks time.

Just a quick recap, Retinol, also known as Vitamin A that helps us boost the amount of collagen your body makes and plumps out skin, cutting down fine lines and wrinkles. There is also a common myth about Retinal because one of the side effects when first starting the use of a retinoid is skin peeling but it's quite the opposite because retinoids stimulate collagen production, it actually helps to thicken the skin instead of thinning. So don't worry girls, you're safe!

Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum is formulated for the delicate eye area to keep them looking fresh, youthful, and free from pesky wrinkles instantly and over time. Powered by Retinol Tri-Active Technology, Cotton Wool Grass Extract, and Marine Kelp Complex this eye serum is proven to be more powerfully than the traditional retinol formula to help fight lines and deep wrinkles.

The key benefit of this eye serum is that it's able to create the illusion of firmer, plumper skin under the eyes. It also hydrates our eyes for 24hours to reduce the risk of dryness and irritation, and fend off fine lines.

Texture & application

The Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum is lightweight but rich enough to keep our eyes area moisturized without giving me oil seed problems, there's no sensitivity or issues of redness after my application. Usually, I use it only at night because I've got another day eye serum but I've also tried it during the day and surprisingly sits in well with my makeup but apply it at least 5 to 10 mins before putting on your makeup because it'll take time for the formula to sink in.

Results
I am fortunate I’ve yet to begin my battle with wrinkles or fine lines around my eye area but I do have puffy eyes and a little of dark eye circle, using Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum has helped me reduce the dark eye circle and brighten the eye area slightly since it's only been 1 month of using it, I think it'll need more time for results to be visible.

I have always believed in finishing my outfit with a spritz of perfume, the scent you leave behind is sort of like your signature, something that is uniquely you, and I believe, it says a lot more about you and your personal style.

A little while back, I got myself a bottle of Juicy Couture fragrance by Juicy Couture from PerfumeStore.my, they are the largest online perfume stores that carry a wide range of designer brands such as Gucci, Calvin Klein, Versace, Davidoff, Hugo Boss, Burberry, Kenzo and many more. Furthermore, they offer 7 days money-back guarantee, free delivery within Malaysia, free gifts and 100% authentic assured.

Juicy Couture fragrance by Juicy Couture is a subtle classy fragrance that's not too sweet, it has a distinctive mixture of delectable fruits and other natural and woodsy aromas that round it out perfectly. The scent’s top notes include green leaves, mandarin orange, marigold flowers, pink passion fruit, water hyacinth, and watermelon.

Since Valentines Day is just a few days away, why not get your loved one a perfume instead of flowers and chocolate? Perfume is such an incredible choice, it's little but it speaks so much and leaves a great effect on the mind every time the wearer applies that fragrance, they will think of the giver. It truly is the gift that keeps on giving. As the giver, you’re ensuring you will always be remembered whenever the recipient applies their fragrance.

Happy Chinese New Year everyone, Chap Goh Meh is approaching, honestly I can't believe the festive season has come to an end so quicky!

In celebration of Chinese Valentine’s Day or the fifteenth day of the Lunar New Year, Redoxon®, The Defender of Health, is sharing goodness from its digital lake of health, love and prosperity, on the streets of Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

This is a really fun activity, choose to either throw Oranges with your personalised message or try hand at netting to win attractive prizes from Redoxon®. The Redoxon® Chap Goh Meh rovers will make its final stop in front of the iconic Penang Town Hall, at the Penang Esplanade’s annual Chap Goh Meh event on the 8th February 2020!

The orange tossing tradition on the fifteenth day of the Lunar New Year is said to have originated from the Hokkien community in the southern part of China, and is believed to have made its way to Penang around the end of the 19th century.

As the tale goes, maidens would toss oranges into seas, rivers or streams in the hopes of finding a good suitor amongst the eligible men who picked up them. Amidst practicalities of modern life, this tradition is still widely celebrated with enthusiasm across Malaysia.

To usher the auspicious Chinese New Year California Raisins gave us a treat at the Samplings On the Fourteen Restaurant at Berjaya University College with a four course dinner by 2-star Michelin celebrity Chef Emmanuel Stroobant along with guest Chef Erich Anton Roos using the versatile California Raisins in each of his dishes ❤️

Raisins may look very simple but they are one of nature’s healthier alternatives to those sugar-rich manufactured candies and sweet products! It contains 35% fructose and 35% glucose which is a good source of energy and has no fat & no cholesterol. I often use it as a healthy snack and I'm happy to learn that it is also a sugar replacement for many recipes in cooking and baking.

RAC’s Trade Promotions Director for Malaysia, Mr Richard Lieu says for most consumers, especially children, California Raisins are a healthy snack compared with other snack foods, as they are naturally sweet and do not contain any added sugar. California Raisins are also a very versatile ingredient and can inspire a wide repertoire of dishes—from appetisers and main dishes to desserts and beverages—especially as consumers are becoming more health conscious and more adventurous in their culinary endeavours. “We are very honoured and delighted to work with Chef Emmanuel and Chef Erich to create scrumptious recipes and amazing tastes using California Raisins this time to celebrate the start of 2020 with Malaysian influencers,” enthused Richard.

Ms Tan Yen Sing, a certified clinical dietitian also was present to share on the goodness and benefits of California Raisins.
Ms Tan said studies have shown that increased consumption of fruits & vegetables more than 5 servings a day is related to a 17% reduction in coronary heart disease.

“Good nutrition is the best approach for preventing diseases and being healthy. Raisins, high level of polyphenol antioxidants containing about 3,037 ORAC units (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity – a method in measuring antioxidants in food) in about 2/3 cup. This essential substance are vital for protection against oxidative stress which is related to aging and disease,” said Tan.

My wonderful evening started off with a California Raisins, Crab & Cauliflower,
California Raisin Pasta With Fennel & Prawns and California Raisins With Beef Short Ribs & Winter Fruits by Chef Emmanuel Stroobant.

We also got to see all the Chef Emmanuel Stroobant and Chef Erich Anton Roos live in action as they cook right before you and shares some of his chef secrets and tips with you. It was certainly a fun and informative evening out.

The evening was finished in style with amazing desserts from Chef Erich Anton Rooscreated the Symphony of California Raisins consisting of California Raisin muffin with cream, California Raisin cinnamon ice cream and Apple puff.
