Authentic Thai Food at Go Thai Atria Mall PJ

by - August 01, 2018

As an avid fan of Thai food, I am so happy when I was told I could get authentic Thai Street Food in town. Go Thai is located in Atria Mall, they serve incredibly delicious dishes and price wise it's really affordable, the menu includes many Thai classics you'll be familiar with and they are constantly adding in new items which makes me want to come back and give it a go again.

Here the highlights I had that night and I just had to highlight these two dishes to you guys - Phad Ki Mao & Kai Jeaw Poo is inspired by the one Michelin-star food seller in Bangkok, Go Thai has replicated it and now you get a chance to try out these without having to fly all the way to Thailand.

Phad Ki Mao RM14.90
Phad Ki Mao is also known as drunken noodles, a classic dish in Thailand, the version at Go Thai left me with a deep impression, it was very flavourful, the spice was just enough, stir-fried flat rice noodles with spices such as pepperpot, arrowroot with basil leaves and seafood.

Kai Jeaw Poo RM24.90
A simple dish and yet so satisfying, this fried omelet came with a generous amount of crab meat. A must-order – Go Thai uses only 2 eggs and the rest is just pure crab meat, it was crispy around the edges and fluffy on the inside, best to be eaten hot!

Pi Gai Thod with Lemon Grass RM12.90
These fried chicken wing are absolutely delicious, the chicken meat was tender, juicy and tasted, combine it with the fried lemongrass and some Thai chili sauce for a burst of sweet and spicy flavors.

Kha Moo Stew Pork Leg RM11.90
A dish that's worth trying here, the pork was braised to perfection, the meat is super tender and the fats just melt in your mouth, it is served with Thai Chili sauce where the tanginess and spiciness of the chili just balance up the whole dish. This combination is just so perfect.

Pineapple Fried Rice RM12.90
This was my favorite, I highly recommend you to order this dish, the pineapple fried rice had a lovely blend of sweet and savory

Popia Set RM8.90
These spring rolls exceeded my expectations, they were really delicious, wrapped with fresh herbs and shrimps, perfect when paired with the Thai chili sauce.

Tom Yam Seafood RM14.90
Tom Yum is a local delicacy in Thailand and it's a must have when I dine at a Thai restaurant, this was well executed, it has a good balance of spicy and sour with a hint of lemongrass and plenty of seafood inside.

To wrap it up, I was super happy with my stay at Go Thai, the ingredients were super fresh which is an element that makes the food tasty, the portions were generous and there are so many dishes to choose from, I'm spoilt for choice! Definitely coming back again with my family and friends.
