Hi loves, I know it’s been a while since my last beauty review, this round I’ve got you covered on your eyes and lips for this hot weather. DHC is one of Japan’s best-selling skincare and cosmetic brands, the brand is known for its premium skincare line that uses organic olive oil as its key ingredient, their products are fragrance, paraben and colorant free, after reading tons of positive review, I couldn’t wait to get my hand on some of their products and test them out myself.

Today I will be sharing my review on my experience from using DHC Revitalizing Moisture Strips for Eyes & DHC Lip Cream.

Some of the lifestyle changes I had during MCO is staying up late which is why I started experiencing puffiness & dark eye circles. With the help of DHC Revitalizing Moisture Strips, this gel type eye mask is packed with Alpha-arbutin and Mulberry Root Extract that helps to brighten the area, Olive Leaf, and Soybean Seed Extracts that nourishes the delicate eye area, and protein-rich Japanese Chlorella Extract that promotes firmness to gives our eyes the instant fix we need.

Each box comes with six pairs which is good for 6 applications for both eyes,. I love placing mine in the fridge and leave it on overnight for a cooling and conditioning effect or you could leave it on for at least 20-30 minutes straight from the pack. The patch are generously sized and covers the entire part of our under eye area and most importantly it sticks on well. After application, I can instantly see the eyes area lighten up.

Another part we often overlook is our lips., I’ve always experience chapped lips during hot seasons, especially when I'm not getting enough H20, and DHC Lip Cream keeps my lip feeling baby soft, it has never let me down.

DHC Lip Cream comes in a twist tube of 30cm and it has a super creamy, hydrating base which contains Organic Olive Oil, Squalane, Ginseng Root Extract, and Lanolin to retain moisture on our lips and serve as a barrier to protect our lips. The lip balm glides smoothly without feeling sticky, I apply whenever I feel my lips are dry and also every night before I sleep to wake up with hydrated lips that last all day long. After trying the DHC Lip Cream, I never looked back, I’m just glad I don’t have to deal with chapped lips anymore.

If anyone wants to try this product, you may get it online at Lazada, Shopee, Hermo, Beauty Insider, Astro GoShop or it's available at retail outlets at Don Don Donki & Aeon Wellness.

Hi loves, it's been a busy month for me, I hope everyone is doing well. Last month, I was really lucky to be invited to another one of The Butterfly Project's party!! Thank you so much for having me again, this round the collaboration was with Lip Addict! The party was held at Happ Cafe in Damansara with a pink theme, everything was just nicely decorated in pink, including the dessert tables and of course, we dressed up in PINK as well to fit in ❤

What is LipAddict?

LipAddict is the world's first Anti-Aging Lip Treatment that comes in a form of lipgloss, it helps plump up our lips naturally without filler or any other injectables, the brand is from New York, USA and it's been around Malaysia since 2012, mostly sold through beauty saloons.

Sounds interesting, isn't it? Getting plump lips naturally? All thanks to the nourishing ingredients LipAddict is packed in, like peptides, vitamin c, vitamin e, marine collagen, hyaluronic acid, organic plant extracts and organic moisturizing oils such as jojoba seed oil, apricot kernel oil, castor oil, grape seed oil, and avocado oil.

That's not it! It is also free from parabens, sulphates, hormones, artificial fragrances, gluten free and toxic ingredients of any kind and these wonderful treatment comes in 12 beautiful shades, there will be a color option for everyone.

Features & Benefits

#1 Anti Aging
The powerful Anti-aging Peptides & Marine Collagen will help reduce fine lines and wrinkles on your lips.

#2 Instant Plump
The Hyaluronic Acid which naturally binds water will help give your lips instant, natural plump up lips.

#3 Instant Healing
Vitamin C & E helps soothe and heal dry cracked lips, keeping them smooth and supple.

#4 Instant Moisturize
Organic Moisturizing Oils help lock in moisture providing all day hydration.

Texture

LipAddict exists in a form of lipgloss, upon application it also has this cooling effect that gives the lips a tingling feeling but then it goes away and it doesn't irritate my lips. The texture is sticky but I guess this is how it keeps our lips moisturized.

Shades

205 Sexy Seductress has a shimmer in it, since I'm not a great fan of glittery lipgloss, I dab it after applying lipstick, just at the center of my lips to give it a subtle glittery effect.

206 Pink Princess has got to be my favorite, it gives an absolutely beautiful shine on top of matte lipsticks.

213 Jewel is my most used color, it's the perfect night treatment, just apply it before bedtime and it'll help repair and restore moisture to your lips, it is also a unisex color so men can also take a chance to look after their lips.

My thoughts

If you're hoping to change the shape of your lips, LipAddict will be handy, just apply then twice and in a week you'll start noticing the difference, I've been using in for a month and I really works for me! This gloss is ultra hydrating, keeps my lips moist and plumped, it does a perfectly fine job looking good on its own, it'll keep everyone thinking you have naturally plump lips. The only drawback is it doesn't last long and constant application is needed.
