One of my favorite drinks, when I'm in Thailand, is their signature Thai Tea, you can either have it hot or cold but I prefer the cold ones, it's the best ever thirst-quenching drink for the hot and sunny weather. Moon Chang Thai Tea recently opened their 2nd branch inside AEON Jusco Sunway Pyramid.

Mon Chaang Thai Milk Tea is made from freshly brewed tea leaves imported from Thailand and sweetened with condensed milk, each cup is made fresh at the end of the day you will get to enjoy the sweet creamy beverage. Mon Chaang offers 15 choices of tea and coffee for you to choose from starting from the signature Thai Red Tea and if you would like to try something different try out their Thai Lime series, it was really refreshing.

My personal favorite was the Rose Flavored, it was sweet, creamy and altogether well-balanced flavor and after-taste, and for only RM5.90 which is super affordable, this is perfect for those who fancy a sweet drink. If you love snacking, Mon Chaang also offers halal snacks which are also imported from Thailand for RM5.90, combos are available as well for the price of only RM10.90. So don't miss out these crispy snacks while enjoy your cup of Thai Tea!

Chinese New Year is approaching in less than a month and the best way to spend the CNY is with  family and friends and there’s no better way to enjoy that than a sumptuous reunion dinner with them. Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur brings another exciting food promotion as we usher the Year of Dog. The reunion dinner is priced at RM1188 per set for 10 diners, it is available from 8th February to 12th March 2018, dinner starts 6pm onwards.

Salmon Yee Sang
To kick start the lunar year, lou hei is a must, this stunning salad platter crowned with generous portions of premium salmon.

Hot and Sour Sze Chuan Seafood Soup
A traditional Chinese soup that has a unique balance and contrast of flavor. The soup has a crisp texture of vegetables, the sweetness of the seafood and sourness of vinegar.

Roasted Crispy Chicken with Cucumber Plum Sauce
The chicken was cooked perfectly, it was so juicy ozzing out at each bite and the skin was light and crunchy last but not least coated with sweet and sour plum sauce.

Steamed Sea Garoupa 'Hong Kong' Style
Chinese-style steamed fish with soy sauce and topped with shredded ginger, scallions, and cilantro leaves. I love to pair this with steamed rice, drizzled with the soy sauce from the steamed fish, nothing taste as satisfying as this.

Steamed Lotus Rice with Chicken and Yam
Served piping hot, the flavors of chicken and yam seeps evenly throughout the glutinous rice with the wonderful scent imparted by the lotus leaf as you tuck into the rice.

Chilled Honeydew Sago with Rock Melon & Baked Spiral Lotus Puff
This is the part of the dinner I'm looking forward to, the dessert. The chilled dessert was just nice, it was not overly sweeten and it paired perfectly with the lotus puff which was slightly sweeter. This was a great combination.

The Reunion Dinner comes with two different set which were specially created and prepared by Chef Chew Kang Chai and his team. Dinners can choose between set A or set B. According to Chef Chew, the highlight of the main course will be the lip-smacking main dishes; Deep Fried red Snapper with Sweet and Sour Sauce, Stir Fried Tiger Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk, Stir Fried Broccoli with Mushroom Dumplings and Steamed Lotus rice with Chicken and Yam. Vanilla Mille Crepe, a renowned brand has opened their 3rd outlet in IOI City Mall Putrajaya to reach out to their mille crepe lovers. Well known for their signature mille crepes cakes which is made after layer after layer of paper-thin french pancakes held together with luscious pastry cream.

Vanilla Mille Crepe versions consist of all sorts of drool-worthy fillings such as the Italian Tiramisu, Midnight Choc, Lemon Cheese, Orea Crunch, Salted Caramel and many more, Vanilla Mille Crepe offers whole mille crepe cakes at an affordable pricing of RM13.90.

Here are some of the flavor I tested out during their opening, from left - salted caramel, original vanilla, triple chocolate and uji matcha green tea. My favorite was the salted caramel and uji matcha green tea, the green tea mille crepe was filled with green tea infused cream and a fine dusting of matcha powder while the salted caramel suited my tastebud perfectly, it was not too sweet yet rich with salted caramel.

Vanilla Mille Crepe serves coffee and tea as well with seatings for you to enjoy your cake right after shopping! If you have yet to try this heavenly dessert make sure you pay them a visit, they definitely make the perfect luscious treat to sweeten up your day.
